Applicants who wish to pursue the MBA program have the option to complete the four MBA Foundation courses in order to qualify for admission to the MBA program. The full course is provided by distance learning.
Admission to the MBA Basics program is open to all applicants who have attained an educational level comparable to an Associate degree or an equivalent professional qualification plus at least 3 years of work experience. Evaluation of informal learning experience will be considered.
Graduates from the MBA Basics Certificate program are eligible for admission into the MBA program.
The foundation program consists of four modules which can be completed self-paced by independent study. All materials will be delivered via distance learning methodology
Distance learning/Independent Study
Students will receive written materials for independent and self-study and will receive tests and/or assignments at the end of each course which will be supervised and graded by mentors. Mentoring support for organizational and study matters is provided from the University.
The total program can be completed in as little as six months.
BAS-MBA 450 Economics I

Courses numbered 450 to 480 are general core courses.
All courses end with a course examination. In order to be admitted to the Master program, a grade average of 2.75 (B-) must be achieved.
Upon successful completion of the course the MBA Basics Certificate is awarded from UNorthwest.
