International Business School Americas – scholarship programs
Under a cooperation agreement the University of Northwest Europe promotes the open scholarships programs for international students and professionals which are offered by the International Business School Americas on a year around basis.
The IBS is a Member of the Institute of International Education (IIE) AND the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). The International Business School Americas, IBS-Americas, offers international programs to executives since 2003 in the following areas: Finance, Strategy & Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, Projects, Leadership, Communication and Innovation. These programs are held in the United States, Europe, Asia and Brazil, with full-time classes and activities. The school is focused on coordinating and promoting international educational programs to students, young professionals and executives. Every year 1,500 students from all over the world enroll and successfully participate in programs abroad. Students are supported by an extensive scholarship program, covering from 50% up to 70% of the expenses of the chosen course.
All of the courses are intensive short term courses (generally 3 weeks in duration), and usually administered in January, July, August and September, to allow students the opportunity to travel to take our courses without disturbing regularly scheduled university studies or work. The courses, with an integration of theory and practice, allow students to gain profound understanding of international business management and administration. Students have the opportunity to apply theory through case studies and guided corporate visits. Guest lecturers and corporate executives are also invited to speak with students and classes as part of the course curriculum.
Courses are offered in Sao Paulo, Brazil (Universidade Paulista), California, USA (University of La Verne, California State University, Northridge, New York, USA (The State University of New York, at New Paltz, Mount Saint Mary College, at Newburgh, and The College of Saint Rose, at Albany (New York’s Capital), Bejing, China (Bejing Business School, Bejing Normal Iniversity), Europe, Italy (CUOA Business School, a Business School supported by Padua, Venice, Trento and Udine Universities).
