The Alliance International University (AIU) operates as a distance education and cross-border institution of higher learning, and, its nature of its educational models are: (1) Mentored virtual learning conducted with one-on-one tutorial support through electronic communication and correspondence. (2) Guided independent learning with support from qualified mentors and online library Resources. (3) Combination of distance mentorship, campus-based residential classes, and residential seminars.
The University has developed innovative and practical academic programmes across a wide range of disciplines, established a vibrant learning culture, and attracted a large number of students at both undergraduate and graduate levels. AIU is in charge of Tertiary Education and serves adult students throughout the world. The University is an Institute of higher learning with presence in Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, America, Caribbean.
Alliance international university (AIU), Lusaka, Zambia, authorized, approved and accredited by the Republic of Zambia General Ministry of Education and full member of the International Association of Universities as listed in the International Association of Universities’ Worldwide Database of Higher Education Institutions, Systems and Credentials and the University of Northwest Europe (UNE) have signed an Affiliation Agreement.
The purpose of the Agreement is to set forth the conditions and extents of the affiliation between the Parties. The Agreement also serves as a principal statement of outreach, cooperation, and mutual advancement between the Parties and to the benefit of their collective student body. Additionally, this agreement intends to state, if any, state codes with regard to affiliation agreements between postsecondary institutions of learning.
